Why we say this
Guitar already ships active with EMG pickups on a standard humbucker route, so a 9-volt battery cavity already exists, a real advantage over installing this in a passive guitar. However EMG's stock wiring and pot values differ from what Fluence requires (this pickup needs 25k audio taper pots), so the control cavity likely still needs rewiring even though the battery space is already there.
