Genuinely mixed owner reports: several PRS forum threads describe successful installs reusing the stock SE bushings with no modification, while others describe needing to ream the shaft hole and drill new mounting screw holes. PRS's own parts distributor states Phase III tuners will not retrofit to any model without modification except guitars that already have them.
