Description
The Fender Pure Vintage '64 Telecaster pickups are voiced to replicate the articulate, dynamic tone of early-mid 1960s Telecasters. Built with vintage-correct materials—like enamel-coated wire, Alnico 5 magnets, and cloth push-back leads—this set delivers bright, clear treble, defined lows, and a slightly scooped midrange with a touch of compression.
The bridge pickup has the signature Tele twang with a bit of edge, while the neck pickup is clear and rounded, offering smooth cleans and great clarity for rhythm or lead work. These pickups are ideal for players seeking vintage-correct Tele tones in genres like country, blues, indie rock, and classic pop.

️ Installation Notes
The set is designed to fit most Telecaster-style guitars with standard routing and control layouts. The bridge pickup is mounted to the bridge plate, so it requires a compatible “ashtray”-style bridge if not already installed. The neck pickup mounts to the body or pickguard, depending on your Tele's construction.
As with most vintage-style sets, these pickups do not use reverse polarity for hum-cancelling in the middle position. If hum reduction is a priority, look for RWRP options or consider pairing with a noise-cancelling circuit.
Soldering is required for installation due to the vintage cloth wiring.
