A 1mm difference on a Nashville-style post pattern will often still seat, but it is not a match on the exact figure, so this needs measuring rather than treating as a guaranteed fit. No evidence was found of a bridge spec change across the reissue Viking's continuous production since Hagstrom resumed manufacturing in the early 2000s, so the 73mm figure is treated as representative of current production without being a guarantee against minor drift over a decade. The separate Viking 100th Anniversary Edition uses different Gotoh-branded hardware and is not covered by this figure.

Hagstrom's HH pickup route is a standard humbucker mount and cavity, the same basis used for the Pearly Gates and Seth Lover sets listed for this guitar.

The HJ-50 is a standard-size Gibson-style humbucker in a standard route. Real-world reports confirm owners installing Seymour Duncan humbuckers directly into Hagstrom HJ-50-equipped semi-hollows using the stock mounting rings and screws, consistent with a standard humbucker footprint. The Pearly Gates uses the same standard mounting and should fit the same way.

At least one owner report describes pulling stock HJ-50 pickups from a Hagstrom HJ-50-equipped semi-hollow and replacing them with Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers, with the pickups coming out cleanly using the stock mounting rings and screws. This is a single first-hand report rather than a manufacturer-confirmed fit, but it is a real, specific data point for this exact swap, not an inference from general humbucker sizing.

Grover's Rotomatic is the standard 10mm hole reference point across most modern guitars, but Hagstrom's current die cast tuner hole size on the Viking is not published anywhere, and older Hagstrom models are documented using odd, non-standard hole sizes, so 10mm compatibility cannot be assumed the way it can on a modern Gibson or Epiphone.

Same 10mm hole assumption as the Grover 406 Rotomatic listed as another tuner option for this guitar. Gotoh's locking tuners are a common semi-hollow upgrade, but without a confirmed hole size for the Viking this stays a plausible fit rather than a verified one. Separately, this tuner is itself vintage-hole spec (8.73 to 8.8mm), not the modern 10mm size, so even where this guitar's hole size is eventually confirmed as modern 10mm, conversion bushings would be needed regardless.
