The Player Plus Stratocaster sits a step above the standard Player range, aimed at gigging players who want Strat tone without single-coil hum. Its 4th-generation Noiseless pickups keep the classic Strat sparkle while cancelling hum, and a push-pull tone control adds the neck pickup into switch positions 1 and 2, giving two extra pickup combinations not found on a standard 5-way Strat, so it's not stock Strat wiring underneath. Locking tuners and a 12 inch rolled-edge fretboard round out the upgrades over the standard Player series. Nut width is 42.8mm.
