This is the standard-thickness E-II Eclipse, along with its DB and BB bound-body cosmetic variants, which share the same hardware. Active EMG 60/81 pickups, a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece, Gotoh locking tuners, and a U-shaped neck give it a leaner, more SG-like feel than the thicker-bodied Full Thickness Eclipse models. Since active EMGs need a 9-volt battery, a passive pickup swap means a full rewire, not just a pickup change.

    Gotoh GE103B-T Tune-o-matic Bridge (Metric)

    Gotoh GE103B-T Tune-o-matic Bridge (Metric)

    Likely drop-in

The same Gotoh bridge this guitar ships with, so it is a like-for-like swap onto the existing posts.

    Why we say this

ESP list a Gotoh Tune-o-matic and tailpiece on the E-II Eclipse, and retailers reproducing ESP's spec sheet name it as the Gotoh GE103B-T with a GE101Z tailpiece. Gotoh's drawing for the GE103B-T gives 74mm post spacing on M8 posts and 52mm string spacing, so a new one goes straight onto the same posts.

    TonePros NVR2 Locking Nashville TOM

    Needs verification

A locking bridge for 4mm post tops at 74mm. This guitar's posts are close to that spacing, but ESP don't publish the post-top size. Measure yours: 4mm suits this bridge (keep your own posts), 6mm needs TonePros' metric T3BT instead.

    Why we say this

TonePros list the NVR2 with 4mm post tops at 74mm spacing. This guitar's posts are about 73.8mm apart, which is close, but the post-top size isn't published. Measure yours: 4mm tops suit the NVR2 (keep your own posts, as its US-thread posts won't fit metric inserts). Larger 6mm tops need TonePros' metric T3BT instead.

    Faber ABRN Nashville Bridge

    Faber ABRN Nashville Bridge

    Requires modification

Faber build this for Gibson Nashville posts. On import guitars like this one, Faber say you need their conversion studs as well, so it isn't a straight swap.

    Why we say this

Faber's own guidance says import guitars with bushing-mounted posts need Faber conversion bridge studs to take their bridges. They don't list this model as a direct fit for the ABRN.

EMG 57/66 Active Humbucker Set (Brushed Metal)

    Likely drop-in

Uses the same solderless quick-connect wiring as this guitar's stock pickups, so it plugs straight in with no rewiring or new battery box needed.

    Why we say this

EMG's active pickups share the same solderless quick-connect harness across the line, so this set plugs into the existing wiring and 9V battery setup already in this guitar with no rewiring.

Fishman Fluence Classic Humbucker Set 6-String Black

    Needs verification

This guitar already has a battery cavity for its stock active pickups, which helps, and both brands use 25k pots. Fluence wants audio taper pots though, so some of the controls may need swapping. We have not confirmed whether the existing wiring can be reused.

    Why we say this

Guitar already ships active with EMG pickups on a standard humbucker route, so a 9-volt battery cavity already exists, a real advantage over installing this in a passive guitar. EMG and Fluence both use 25k pots, so the volume pots may already suit, but Fishman specifies audio taper pots and EMG tone pots and their wiring can differ, so some of the controls may need swapping. Fishman supplies a harness and pots with the set. Whether the existing wiring can be reused has not been confirmed for this guitar.

    Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker set

    Needs verification

Generally plugs into this guitar's existing wiring the same way its stock pickups do, but owners commonly add an extra ground wire to avoid a faint buzz. Worth knowing before you install.

    Why we say this

Fishman Fluence pickups use the same style of quick-connect main connector as EMG's active line, so they generally plug into an existing EMG-wired guitar like this one without rewiring. Multiple independent owner reports agree the connection works but also agree Fishman pickups want an added bridge ground wire that EMG wiring does not include by default, without it some owners report a faint buzz.

    Seymour Duncan Distortion Humbucker Set

    Requires modification
    Soldering

This guitar's stock pickups are active and wired differently from passive ones. Switching to a passive set like this one means a full rewire, not just a pickup swap.

    Why we say this

This guitar's stock EMG pickups are active and run on a 9V battery with dedicated active wiring. Swapping to a passive pickup set means removing the active wiring and battery setup and rewiring for passive pots and a standard output jack.

    Gotoh SG381 Locking Tuners (Magnum Lock-Trad), 3+3

    Needs verification

The tuner hole size matches, but this guitar's screw mounting pattern is angled differently from a standard mount.

    Why we say this

Hipshot's own fitment guidance for the ESP LTD Eclipse states tuner mounting screw holes are angled 45 degrees from the tuner body, a nonstandard pattern.

    Grover 102 Rotomatic Tuners, 3+3

    Needs verification

The tuner hole size matches, but this guitar's screw mounting pattern is angled differently from a standard mount. The screw holes may not line up even if the post itself fits.

    Why we say this

Hipshot's own fitment guidance for the ESP LTD Eclipse states tuner mounting screw holes are angled 45 degrees from the tuner body, a nonstandard pattern that may not align with a standard two-screw mount even though the peghole diameter matches.

Kluson Revolution Diecast Locking Tuners, 3+3

    Needs verification

The tuner hole size matches, but this guitar's screw mounting pattern is angled differently from a standard Gibson-style tuner. The screw holes may not line up even if the post itself fits.

    Why we say this

Hipshot's own published fitment guidance for the ESP LTD Eclipse states its tuner mounting screw holes are angled 45 degrees from the tuner body, a nonstandard pattern that aftermarket kits typically only work around by using a mounting plate rather than matching screw holes directly. The Kluson Revolution G-mount uses the traditional two-screw Gibson pattern, which may not line up even though the peghole diameter matches.
