About this Guitar
This is the archetypal SG – light, loud, and full of attitude. The 490 pickups are midrange-focused and deliver a punchy, slightly aggressive tone. There's something very direct about the SG sound – no frills, no fluff.
It's also one of the most comfortable Gibsons to wear live. The upper fret access is superb, and the balance is better than the SG's reputation might suggest. A no-nonsense rock machine.
