The Vintera '70s Telecaster Custom (made 2019 to 2023, replaced by the Vintera II range) recreates the 70s Tele Custom's distinctive neck-humbucker-plus-bridge-single-coil layout. That neck pickup is a genuine Fender Wide Range Humbucker, physically larger than a standard Gibson-style humbucker and mounted on 4 screws instead of 2, so it will not fit a standard humbucker route or accept a standard humbucker replacement without a new pickguard and routing work. Easy to miss since it still reads as 'HS' on paper.

Fender American Vintage Telecaster Compensated Bridge Saddles (3)

    Needs verification

The right style of saddle for this guitar's 3-saddle bridge, but Fender don't list this model as a fit. Compare with your stock saddles before buying.

    Why we say this

Fender's spec for the Vintera '70s Telecaster Custom lists a 3-saddle vintage-style strings-through-body Tele bridge with chrome barrel saddles (reproduced by Sweetwater, West Music and Cream City Music). These Fender compensated saddles are made for that style of bridge, but Fender don't list this model as a fit, so the screw sizes and saddle fit aren't confirmed. Take one stock saddle out and compare it with the replacement before ordering.

Callaham Vintage T Model Tele Bridge Assembly

    Needs verification

The right style of bridge for this guitar, but Callaham don't list it and the bridge plate footprint isn't published for this model. Compare your screw holes before buying.

    Why we say this

Fender list a 3-saddle vintage-style strings-through-body Tele bridge on the Vintera '70s Telecaster Custom, which is the style Callaham's Vintage T replaces. Callaham don't list this guitar, and neither the plate footprint nor the string spacing is published for it, so the fit isn't confirmed. Compare your stock bridge's screw and string hole positions with the Callaham plate before buying.

Hard to find new: Callaham list the Vintage T Model assembly as discontinued in 2026, and we couldn't find a new one in stock. Worth looking for a used one, or see the other Tele bridges for this guitar.

    Soldering

Commonly reported to fit this guitar's bridge pickup mounting, though not officially confirmed. Worth checking before ordering.

    Why we say this

A widely used player guide reports Stratocaster-style staggered single-coils fit physically into Telecaster covers and mounting, though not manufacturer-confirmed as an exact mounting match for this guitar's bridge single-coil.

Fender Vintage-Style Tuners (6-in-line, Split Shaft)

Fender Vintage-Style Tuners (6-in-line, Split Shaft)

    Requires modification

Fender's '70s-spec necks like this one have larger 10.1mm tuner holes, so these vintage-size tuners would sit loose. They need conversion bushings to fit, and the mounting screws may not line up with the existing holes.

    Why we say this

Fender states that its '70s-spec necks, including this series, use a 10.1mm (.397 inch) tuner bore with a 2-screw rear mounting pattern, and that vintage-spec tuners are made for 8.7mm (11/32 inch) holes. This tuner is built for the smaller vintage hole, so it needs conversion bushings to take up the gap, and its mounting screw position may not match the existing 2-screw pattern.
